A strategic platform for Italian–Saudi cooperation
The Italy–Saudi Arabia Business Forum, organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), brought together more than 900 companies in Riyadh from the infrastructure, construction, automotive, sustainable mobility, and furniture sectors. Led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, the event represents a key institutional platform supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and the country’s ambitious national development programs.
Bilateral trade between Italy and Saudi Arabia grew by 67% between 2020 and 2024, with Italian exports up by +27.8% in 2024 alone. In this context, the Forum strengthens collaboration around sustainability, digital innovation, and integrated infrastructure systems.
ENGLOBE’s contribution: integrated design and technical expertise
ENGLOBE participated in the Forum as a multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm, presenting its expertise in infrastructure projects, public buildings, and advanced design solutions. The event provided opportunities to engage with Saudi stakeholders interested in innovative architectural, structural, and MEP engineering approaches, with a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
With major investments underway — including the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and the Expo Riyadh 2030 programs — ENGLOBE positions itself as a reliable technical partner capable of delivering high-quality, process-driven design solutions.
International growth: a structured and steadily expanding pathway
ENGLOBE’s participation in the Riyadh Forum marks an important step within an international growth path that the company has been pursuing over the past few years. The expansion into foreign markets is supported by a strategy built on three key pillars: strengthening technical expertise, developing structured partnerships, and establishing a solid presence within major multilateral procurement platforms.
ENGLOBE is progressively strengthening its international presence by taking part in global Expressions of Interest and public tenders. The company is currently focusing on the Turkish and Armenian markets, with potential expansion into countries involved in reconstruction and development programs. A key milestone in this journey is the second-place ranking in an EU-funded international competition for the Gyumri Market and Culinary School project — a clear confirmation of ENGLOBE’s technical strength and competitive approach. The firm’s use of advanced digital tools, multidisciplinary BIM models, and structured project management systems ensures operational continuity and consistent quality, even in complex international environments.
Strengthening industrial cooperation between Italy and Saudi Arabia
The cooperation agreement signed between the Italian Embassy in Riyadh and Expo 2030 Riyadh Company further expands opportunities for Italian enterprises in major cultural, urban, and infrastructure developments. ENGLOBE’s participation in the Forum highlights its commitment to contributing technical expertise to large-scale, high-impact projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
