ENGLOBE in the OICE 2025 Rankings | Positions & Data

What Are the OICE 2025 Rankings?

The OICE 2025 Rankings are the annual report presenting the revenues declared by OICE member companies, organized by Global Production, Business Sectors, and Services provided. OICE — the Association of Engineering, Architecture and Technical-Economic Consulting Organizations and a member of Confindustria — includes data from 232 member companies in this edition, more than 80% of which are among the association’s larger organizations.

Founded in 1965, OICE currently represents nearly 400 engineering and architecture firms, with aggregate revenues of approximately €4 billion in 2023 and around 17,000 employees, more than 85% of whom are technical professionals.

The rankings are structured across four levels:

  • Global Production: total 2025 revenue of each member company
  • Sectors: Transportation, Building, Energy, Water, Industry, and Other Sectors
  • Services: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Supervision, Project Management
  • Other Activities: services complementary to design and engineering activities

Where Does ENGLOBE Rank in the OICE 2025 Global Production Category?

This places the Consortium in the mid-to-upper range of the overall ranking, within a competitive market that includes both major national infrastructure engineering firms and mid-sized companies with highly specialized technical expertise.

What Is ENGLOBE’s Highest Position in the OICE 2025 Rankings?

ENGLOBE’s most significant result is in the Building Sector, where it ranks 35th out of 135 member companies operating in the sector, with €4.6 million in revenue. This is the Consortium’s highest position across all categories published by OICE.

The result is consistent with ENGLOBE’s core business, historically focused on:

  • conservation, restoration, and structural strengthening of protected heritage assets under Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. 42/2004
  • urban regeneration and redevelopment of existing building complexes
  • seismic improvement of historic and monumental buildings in accordance with NTC 2018
  • integrated design of complex projects involving both historic and contemporary buildings

Within the Services categories, ENGLOBE ranks 89th out of 174 member companies for Engineering Services and 37th out of 74 for Architecture Services, with revenues of €2.53 million and €1.45 million respectively.

Its presence in both rankings reflects the Consortium’s multidisciplinary structure, integrating engineering and architectural expertise within a single coordinated workflow, from architectural concept development and structural verification to construction supervision and on-site implementation.

Why Is the OICE Rankings Methodology Relevant to the Industry?

The OICE Rankings are based on revenue figures self-declared by member companies and verifiable through officially filed financial statements, making them one of the most transparent benchmarking tools available for the Italian engineering and architecture market.

OICE specifies that each member company independently allocates its revenues among the different sectors and types of services in which it operates. The Association also states that it assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information submitted by individual members.

This methodological disclosure provides an important level of transparency and supports a more informed comparison among industry operators.
