data-end=\"852\"><strong data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"502\">Palazzo Perticari<\/strong>, one of the most distinguished <strong data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"566\">historic buildings in Pesaro<\/strong>, has long served as a cultural and architectural landmark. Overlooking the city\u2019s main street and built upon a Renaissance core, the palazzo reached its peak in the late 18th century, becoming a renowned literary salon visited by figures such as <strong data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"834\">Gioachino Rossini<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"851\">Stendhal<\/strong>.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"898\">Historical and Architectural Features<\/h2><p data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"1400\">The building extends over <strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"954\">four above-ground floors<\/strong> and a system of underground grottos, with a sequence of highly refined interior spaces: <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1064\">coffered ceilings<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1084\">frescoed rooms<\/strong>, decorations created by pupils of <strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1132\">Lazzarini<\/strong>, and the celebrated <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1173\">conte\u2019s studiolo<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1177\" \/>The main fa\u00e7ade features a finely crafted <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1236\">marble portal<\/strong>, a <strong data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1277\">17th-century wooden entrance door<\/strong>, and a balanced three-level composition. Inside, a <strong data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1351\">historic courtyard<\/strong> enriches the architectural value of the complex.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1459\">Structural Strengthening and Conservation Strategy<\/h2><p data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1733\">The restoration project\u2014designed by <strong data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1512\">Studio Paci<\/strong>\u2014included a comprehensive program of <strong data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1565\">conservation<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1595\">structural strengthening<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1622\">seismic upgrading<\/strong> to rehabilitate an asset that, at the time of acquisition, was in a severe state of neglect and deterioration.<\/p><p data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1778\">Key components of the intervention include:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"2286\"><li data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"2027\"><p data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"2027\"><strong data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1838\">Structural works for seismic performance improvement<\/strong>, such as foundation strengthening, reinforcement of masonry walls, enhancement of vertical connections, reconstruction of the roof structures, and stiffening of vaulted and slab systems.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2135\"><p data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2135\"><strong data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2065\">Internal spatial reorganization<\/strong>, ensuring full functional compatibility with the new intended uses.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2286\"><p data-start=\"2138\" data-end=\"2286\"><strong data-start=\"2138\" data-end=\"2179\">Restoration of architectural finishes<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2224\">conservation of historic decorations<\/strong>, many of which had been compromised or nearly lost over time.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2 data-start=\"2288\" data-end=\"2370\">A Restored Landmark Returned to the City: Adaptive Reuse and Cultural Value<\/h2><p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2928\">Through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, Palazzo Perticari has been brought back to its <strong data-start=\"2473\" data-end=\"2494\">original splendor<\/strong>, reestablishing its role as a cultural anchor within the city.
