Camerino, October 16, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 After years of restoration and reconstruction, the Archbishop\u2019s Palace of Camerino<\/strong> and the Diocesan Museum \u201cMonsignor Giacomo Boccanera\u201d<\/strong> have officially reopened, symbolizing the cultural and spiritual rebirth of the city and its community.<\/p>\n

Since 2021<\/strong>, ENGLOBE<\/strong> has been responsible for the preliminary, detailed, and executive design<\/strong>, as well as the health and safety coordination during design<\/strong>, for the entire palace. This long and meticulous process has brought new life to one of the region\u2019s most important architectural landmarks.<\/p>\n

As stated by the President of the Marche Region, Francesco Acquaroli<\/strong>: \u201cReopening the Archbishop\u2019s Palace and the Diocesan Museum represents a fundamental step for Camerino, for our region, and for the entire earthquake crater. Returning this place to the community means restoring a vital part of daily life and of the city\u2019s identity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Built in the 16th century by Bishop Berardo Bongiovanni<\/strong>, the palace stands beside the cathedral and preserves layers of historical and architectural heritage. The project involved seismic strengthening, spatial reorganization, and restoration of the medieval underground areas, enhancing the original structure\u2019s integrity and beauty.<\/p>\n

Directed by Dr. Barbara Mastrocola<\/strong>, the Giacomo Boccanera Diocesan Museum<\/strong> displays works by Luca Signorelli<\/strong>, Giovan Battista Gaulli<\/strong>, Giovanni Boccati<\/strong>, Carlo Crivelli<\/strong>, and Giovanni Battista Tiepolo<\/strong>, reflecting the rich spiritual and artistic legacy of Camerino\u2019s diocese.<\/p>\n

The reopening event, \u201cAfter the Silence, Rebirth\u201d<\/em>, gathered President Acquaroli<\/strong>, Archbishop Francesco Massara<\/strong>, Reconstruction Commissioner Guido Castelli<\/strong>, Mayor Roberto Lucarelli<\/strong>, and numerous authorities and citizens.<\/p>\n
