San Felice sul Panaro (Modena), June 10, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 After more than thirteen years of closure, restoration works have officially begun on the Teatro Comunale of San Felice sul Panaro<\/strong>, one of the seven historic theaters in the Province of Modena<\/span><\/span>, severely damaged by the 2012 earthquake. The construction site was formally handed over on Monday, June 9, marking the start of a complex intervention aimed at returning one of the community\u2019s most symbolic landmarks to public use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Project Team and ENGLOBE\u2019s Role<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project involves an integrated team of professionals coordinated by ENGLOBE<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, responsible for structural and geotechnical design<\/strong> and now also assuming the roles of Construction Management<\/strong> and Site Safety Coordinator during Execution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Overall design coordination<\/strong> and the integration of specialist disciplines are entrusted to Arch. Giovanni Vincenti<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, while architectural design and historical research<\/strong> were carried out by Arch. Davide Calanca<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Restoration of the decorative elements<\/strong> is entrusted to Studio Forme snc<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, while the design of building systems, stage engineering, and fire safety systems<\/strong> is handled by IN.TE.SO. The project, with a total value of \u20ac 8.37 million<\/strong>, is funded with over \u20ac 7 million by the Regione Emilia-Romagna<\/span><\/span> and \u20ac800,000 by the Comune di San Felice sul Panaro<\/span><\/span>. The works are expected to last approximately two years<\/strong>, with completion scheduled for 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Renewed and Multifunctional Theater<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The theater will accommodate 468 seats<\/strong>, distributed among the stalls, boxes, gallery, and upper gallery. It will be equipped with new stage engineering systems, audio-video technologies, safety systems, dressing rooms, a bar, cultural offices, and service areas. The space will be suitable for hosting theatrical performances, musical events, film screenings, conferences, and television broadcasts.<\/p>\n
